Rotate PDF
Rotate every page at once, or just the ones that came out of the scanner wrong. Rotation is saved into the file properly, so it stays fixed everywhere you open it.

Don't take our word for it. Turn off your Wi‑Fi, then use this tool. It will work exactly the same, which is only possible because your file never goes anywhere.
Why pages come out sideways, and what rotation really changes
Rotation does not redraw the page. A PDF page carries a rotation value of 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees, and every viewer reads it before displaying the page. Rotating changes that number, which is why it is instant even on a large document and why it costs nothing in quality.
Where sideways pages come from
- Scanners with an automatic feeder pick up landscape sheets at whatever angle they were loaded.
- Phone photographs carry their own orientation flag, and it does not always survive being placed into a PDF.
- Documents assembled from several sources arrive with whatever rotation each source had.
Rotating some pages, not all
Rotation is stored per page, so a document can mix orientations quite legitimately — a report with one landscape table in the middle is normal. Rotate only the pages that are actually wrong rather than the whole file.
Make the rotation permanent
Because rotation is a stored value rather than a change to the page content, turning a page in your PDF reader usually does not save. It looks right until you send it, and then it is sideways again for the person who opens it. Saving the rotation into the file is the difference, and it is what this tool does.

Questions people ask
Why does my PDF look rotated in one app but not another?
Some viewers ignore the rotation flag. This tool writes the rotation into the page itself, which every reader respects.
Does rotating a PDF reduce quality?
No. Only a stored orientation value changes; the page content is not touched, so nothing is re-encoded.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Rotation is recorded per page, so you can turn a single sideways scan and leave the rest of the document alone.
Why did my rotation disappear when I sent the file?
Some viewers rotate the view without writing the change into the file. Saving a rotated copy — rather than turning the page on screen — is what makes it stick for everyone else.

How to crop a PDF — and what cropping actually does
Cropping a PDF hides the margins rather than deleting them. That is worth knowing before you use it to cut something out of a document you are about to send.
